Bartle Hall

WEDDING VENUE

Bartle Hall is a lovely Wedding Venue with great grounds and scenery for fantastic photo opportunites, situated near Preston, Lancashire

Here at Bartle Hall the function room is a long room and I had to set up across the short end. When I visit places like this, I always turn one of the speakers down the room, especially during the early part of the evening, so as to create a nice ambience with the background muisc. In this instance I have used one of my more compact speaker systems, due to not having a big area in front of me. Iit was more than adequte for Wedding Party to enjoy their pre-requested Trance and R&B on the night.

Lighting, again because i'm only playing to a small area, in this instance the Bride and Groom went with the directed lighting, where ever I point them that's where they shine, e.g not around the room. But as no one is directly in front of the lights,either roaming or directed lighting would have been fine.

In this case they also asked for some Venue Lighting across the dance floor end and as you can see this makes a great difference to the effect of the room, and it's colour co-ordinated to their chosen colours.

Both sound and lighting options are discussed at any pre-booking or pre-event meeting, explaining and showing the diffrent effects, and letting you choose which way you want to go.

Unfortunatly on this occasion my batteries died on the camera after taking the early set-up pictures, so no images of the main Wedding party on the floor all night, dancing away to their pre-requested songs.
