Bartle Hall

Bartle Hall is a lovely Wedding Venue with great grounds and scenery for fantastic photo opportunites, situated near Preston, Lancashire

     

        Here at Bartle Hall the main function room is a long room and with the dancefloor across the short end. When I visit places like this, I always turn one or both speakers down the room, especially during the early part of the evening, so as to create a nice ambience with the background muisc.

       Lighting, again because i'm only playing to a small area, in this instance the Bride and Groom went with the directed lighting, where ever I point them that's where they shine, e.g not around the room. But as no one is directly in front of the lights, so either roaming or directed lighting would have been fine.

     In this case they also asked for some Venue Lighting across the dance floor end and as you can see this makes a great difference to the effect of the room, and it's colour co-ordinated to their chosen colours.

    Both sound and lighting options are discussed at any pre-booking or pre-event meeting, explaining and showing the diffrent effects, and letting you choose which way you want to go.

Here is another wedding at Bartle Hall, where the bride had requested Blue uplighting upto and including the 1st Dance, then after that to have the lights on my pre-programmed colour scroll.

On this occasion I was performing in the bar area for only a small number of guests. It was on a Thursday, and I started with aproximately 30 guests, but within the hour I was down to 15 or so, but boy did they like to party. Those that stayed , stayed all night and I still had the floor 'full' upto an dincluding the last dance at 1am! One of my best crowds for 2011, not just for a mid-week party but in general.
