My name is David Lee Jones, I’m 37, and I have been a Wedding DJ, Mobile Discos and DJ Service provider for over  14 years, the last 6 of those in the Manchester and North West, and in that time I have provided Mobile Disco Services for all sorts of Weddings, Private Parties, Christmas Parties, School Proms and Corporate Functions with crowds from 40 upto 1200 party revellers.

All though I will have an idea before hand of what is needed, the one thing all this experience has given me is the ability to read a crowd and change the music accordingly. Playing what people want to dance to, is one of the most important tools a DJ can have.

Although I do use the microphone, I am not on it constantly, telling you the song and artist of every song, or making unfunny jokes at other peoples exspense. I am not a Personality DJ. It's all about YOU, I usually wear all black (unless otherwise requested i.e black tie, fancy dress etc) and I make as little fuss as possible. It's a bit of a cheesy line but "I let the music do the talking". If You and your guests want to listen and dance to great music, then look no further.

On all events, musical guidelines are taken before the day with general and specific songs to play and to avoid, plus taking requests on the day so everyone can enjoy their time there. Now there is also an online event planner whereby not only can you organise your event, you can also request songs, and manage the playlist, along with taking requests from you guests on line as well. Please ask for more information.

I offer to meet up before you decide weather to book me, to go over your plans for your event and to see how I can make your plans come to life. This way you get to meet me and see if we are compatible. Also I find it helps on the night if you have a face and some who knows what YOU want at the head of the party preceedings.

As a professional all my equipment is regularly P.A.T   Portable appliance tested means,
that all my electrical items
are regularly tested and confirmed safe
by an independent tester.
This is certified and needed to work with the P.L.I.
and I have P.L.I.   Public liability insurance covers
claims made against my business,
if I am shown to be responsible
for personal injuries to a third
party or damage to a property. to give you full peace of mind. Copies of certificates can be forwarded to venues on request.
