moorfield Arms

                                                       Wedding Venue

 

      The Moorfield Arms in Mellor, Stockport, Cheshire, has it's own interior function suite, but on this occasion they had a marquee which as you will see from the pictures was stunningly set out.

      This event was for a wedding where I was working along side a band, so it was a bit of a compromise setting up wise, but was well worth it in the end. I used my up-lighters to light up the band and the 'dance' end of the marquee, as well as using my disco lights to help 'the party mood' during the bands set.

       I set-up early and played some background music for when the wedding party arrived, and let the top table use my microphones for the speeches. As with all marquees, there is no sound rebound, so using some form of P. A. for speeches is highly recommended.

      As you can see from the pictures the party went with a swing and a great night was had by all.
